Wednesday, June 8, 2011 @ 10:28 PMBut you cannot want everything. Know your Limits. I made up my MIND. No more attempt 2. Thank you very much! :) ------ I feel like drawing now. This picture depicts: An able bodied, muscular man. Carrying a backpack. Standing in front of so many other people. Other people some without a backpack, some with but apparently everyone is slower than him. The able bodied man is in a village. (He is a villager) This picture depicts: The able bodied man thinking that he is really capable because he is able to carry so many things. His backpack is loaded. With stuff he collected all over the different villages as he travels But he remains humble. This man looks into a brochure showing men of different colours carrying backpacks of different sizes smiling happily as they've managed to trek up a beautiful hill. This is the brochure of a place with awesome scenery. This picture depicts: The able bodied man, standing at the foothill of Mount Kilimanjaro. Or if I could choose another mountain, Mount Everest. Okay. So he's standing there, wondering how he should get up this rough terrains, meet the harsh conditions. He is thinking deeply. Clutching onto his backpack tightly with both hands close to his shoulders. And just watching at how the Other people can bring their heavy backpacks, climb the mountain, be prepared to face the obstacles. Why did he compare? Would the able bodied strong built man, tell himself to put down the backpack before continuing the climb? (considering the climb can be done within one day and he won't die of starvation) Or, Would he continue, carrying the burden on his shoulders, and brave the obstacles ahead with greater difficulty? In anyway, He tells himself that.. This picture depicts: A terribly exhausted able bodied man. still clutching onto his backpack, looking as though stuff have been thrown down to reduce the load onto his shoulders. And keeping only what's key to allow him to climb further. The backpack is torn but still resembles one. The able bodied man looks into the direction of the sun. feels the heat absorbing into his skin. Beams in the direction of the light. He made it up there. ------ Note to self: Do I have much time? GET CRAGGIN... AND I've been so happening already, so remind yourself of that and start doing work now. Even Mrs Yeo's expressing concern for me :( Wenying... Buck up.
