Tuesday, August 9, 2011 @ 12:00 PMMushyness with limits
I can't concentrate on chemistry, thats why i'm blogging here :).
To Dad: Haha, its alright to be busy. :) I think it is good to be busy. I guess it implies that you are being occupied with something, something to keep you non-idleing and from wasting your time. Just let me know when you're free-er then. I'M BUSY TOO. :) Ah NOW, I just wanna rant. There's something that I realised about me. It doesn't matter if it is from a bestfriend/girl/boy/family member. I (I can't say hate, because to a small extent it is fun in a relationship (doesn't matter what kind), but to a large extent, I think it is disturbing.) A little is okay. :) To: The boyfriend of the future...! (For now,) I can't stand mushyness. I think its full of sweet talk, and sometimes, bullshit! HAHA. And it disturbs me. like saying a love poem or whatever shit, it seems like you've just copied it from the internet. A display of a total lack of creativity. (Although, poems are meant to be much more creativity than mere words that string into sentences, but I don't appreciate it unless it is really written from thyself.) and I can't stand it. I appreciate stuff written from the heart. It means true genuity, and sincerity. Not nicey nicey words that string nicely into a poem. It should be written with meaning. Oh yeah, and I just got reminded about those kind of cards and notes I have received before. Digressing, I wanna elaborate on egoboosters. I really dislike those few-days events (eg. leadership symposium, orientation) which end of with ... (what do you call that?) EGO-BOOSTERS. Yeah totally ego-booster... But I think through the span of a few days, does one have the capacity to know enough about another person and write something nice about them? -_-. It doesn't matter if the person is participative (then, you would know more about him/her), but it matters if the person is not. because you don't know about the person and you have to write something nice about him/her. Yeah, those kind of people that when everything is over, you realise that they remain in the background (not involved in doing real stuff) and waiting to be forgotten. I totally dislike writing Nice things about people whom I do not know (very well). Because you have to crack your head to put words in a nice way so they can be "EGO-BOOSTED" - it is the aim of the activity. Plus, it is 98% fake, like telling a lie, just that you are writing it down. Humph, I can't stand it. Vice-versa - I'm not exactly receptive to comments from people who do not know me enough to comment on me. I'll just leave it aside, because it does not matter if it is written or not. Unless it is genuine. I think one quality I see very much to be a person whom I can trust, is the quality of being sincere and genuine. Mean what you say, and say what you mean. But, being mushy to a certain extent is fun. Considering it as a way to show that you still care and want to being fun into each others' life. :) it makes me laugh. Why am I saying all this? -What do you think about giving peck at your girlfriend's cheek, is it acceptable to you? (Girlfriend- I refer to a special friend whom one can relate to very much, like a best friend, one of the best friends) - a peck is a peck, not a kiss. Half of me says: its okay, its very casual. like how society is embracing "openness", and people see speaking vulgarities as a normal, thing. (I don't speak vulgarities, unless triggered.) The other half of me says: its disturbing. stop. for goodness sake, i'm not a man!!!!! Ok, enough. Bye Bye, and HAPPY NATIONAL DAY SINGAPORE :) Wenying. back to the top? |
