I feel pleasantly surprised when my student called me miss gwen today :)
well, ok I told them to call me gwen or wenying.
But i think gwen is a nice name to respond to. --> gotta get used to it.

I think NJ children are really bright too.
I have so many animation slides I've created, and I thought, perhaps we can take it SLOW and teach them bit by bit.
However, after today's first session with the kids, I realised WHOA I've taught all the necessary basics. What's left is the animation part. WHOA. totally surpassed my expectations.

So, today I've learnt not to put a ceiling on anybody. Because everybody has different capabilities, and some do think really quick, fast, and they have the potential to be so much better than you. Also, I've learnt that I have a WAY WITH CHILDREN. I'm honing my skills to be either a lecturer or a mother in future as I continue giving tuition or conducting workshops that require interaction with children and Learning how they best learn.

It is interesting :)
