An interesting morning...

A cockerel crowed and scared me while I walked up a stair path. I saw two flies mating, a blue hummingbird. A humongous spiderweb almost half a meter in radius with a really cool black and white spider with a fat abdomen. 

I sat along the sloping grassy patch in front of the duck pond in the Botanic Gardens to read my book. It was a beautiful morning with just soothing daylight, gentle breeze, and a great view. There were few souls loitering around the pavillion, just a cleaner and me.

As I was absorbing the nature around, two curious little fellas were sizing me up. They thought I had food.

Like buddies, they walked in synchrony towards me. I guess they were thinking "she'll definitely give food because we look so cute!" I just sat down and watched them waddling. Until I realised okay you're coming closer... you're really targeting me. I've got nothing to offer to you little ducks, you will be disappointed. We stared at each other for about two minutes before they gave up. I watched them leave.

I guess I was pretty absorbed in my book until I heard some rustling of the grass. I turned my head and I JUMPED. A black swan was just looking over my shoulders. "OHMYGOD THE SWAN IS CHASING AFTER MEE AHHHH!"

I picked up my book and ran toward the tarmac path.
A guy at the pavillion saw me and something like... "Chasing after you, good what." I gave him the face.

Thinking about it, it was a pretty cool, funny experience on an early morning. I mean, who gets (the chance) to be chased by ducks and swans on a random day? Laughs. back to the top?
