Digressing... 
Sometimes I think human have animal qualities. I have this colleague who laughs like a HORSE. Seriously, not kidding! Everytime she laughs, I just think of a horse. =_=  

Ok back.
I really, really love my work environment. - Note: I'm referring to the surrounding environment more than the office politics going on. (thankfully temporary staff like me are not so much included in these unhealthy social relationships)

I still remember during my JC years.. how much I yearn to spend a day in the botanic gardens carrying no baggage with me. Now I can do it freely; swinging my arms and skipping around as I wish :) its about being (and staying) carefree.

Today, I managed to make use of my lunch hour to visit the central area of the botanic gardens. To sketch, and to slow down and absorb the little happenings around me. It is interesting when you realise that you stop to observe nature, and the nature momentarily waits for you to appreciate it.

I think I can telepathy with animals. Just kidding :D I'm not sure, but I think animals can understand my thoughts - ie. pigeons and hamsters. Maybe it pays attention to my emotions and expression. cool eh!

I brought my paper, pencils and lunch ready to draw in front of one of the zadok ben-david's art pieces and got myself seated in one of the benches in the open. When I first sat there, and started erasing some markings, it started to drizzle. Ok, so off I went and sat at the bench under the tree. Noticing that passers by were not carrying any umbrella (so it wasn't raining), I happily went out to sit on that bench again. Then, IT STARTED RAINING. GAWWD. Perhaps... that bench is ominous.
