dear diary,
I'm going overseas on thursday :) but I still haven't felt the excitement in me.
This afternoon I was so frustrated after trying one clothes to bring for the trip (as well as to clear the wardrobe) for the entire morning. I think I tried more than 50 pieces of clothes, as well as discarded many from the wardrobe. Finally, there's space - for more to be put inside after shopping in tw - teehee. :)

I think its important to feel blessed and fortunate in everyday of my life. At least, be thankful that im here to survive another day. today, I went kite flying at marina barrage with my family. we used two kite strings attached, after the first one has reached the end of the line. So, our kite was the HIGHEST of all the other kits flying today. Thankfully we managed to spend at least an hour on the deck, before we were chased away by the looming clouds - and heavy rain.

I went to wp's house ytd just to sit in and listen to a bible study group session. I'm not the kind of staunch buddhist, im more open minded so I just decided to sit in and learn something from there. :) I met his wife too, haha she's so pretty and their two dogs which are okish cute, and also some of their friends from church. I think it was rather interesting how they discussed a chapter in the bible. I learnt three things 1) to live the life of holiness and godliness as you will be judged when god returns one day. 2) god is patient and merciful. 3) instead of fearing the coming day of the lord (when dooms day arrives) we should look forward to it. Yeah, basically to live a life that you will be proud of and fear nothing when something happens?

if only we knew more about this in the context of buddhism. Somehow, I feel that young people are more inclined to christianity, and also the consumerising of the cross. it has become like a "fashionable" thing to talk about being christian, what you do in church, who u meet, who u go with, blah blah. like during a project meeting, all my three other group mates were christian and talking something about church or the bible, i just stoned there.

Though I am openminded, I still believe in my own religion. I think its an inner self thing.

Well, there could be just one god and we happen to picture him in different forms - as in the other religion and their statue of worship.

But im really happy for what I have experienced during the BSG. Also, meeting so many new and intersting people and sharing ideas on beliefs. Now, I just hope that i'll get to go on an med internship sometime during the holidays this or next year. back to the top?
