Knowledge is like a burning candle.
Bright and charming.
However, flame if extinguished can never be passed on to the next candle; and
The flame can never be the identical flame.

In reality,
Knowledge can be lost just like that.
Looking upon the lost traditional styles of fortune telling, Egyptian language, or even lost wisdom that has failed to reach the hands of the people in modern days.

Knowledge getting fade, pale, light, small, soft...

If you fail to pass on your knowledge to those who could live the legacy
I think you are doing a great misdeed to mankind.
Failing on your part to be one the termed "most intelligent beings".

If you have a burning candle, I beseech you to pass your flame to one whose wick has not been lighted yet.
No, you are not at a loss, lighted you still remain.
On the other hand, you are contributing to making the world a brighter place, a gain.

A Brighter Place.

If one passes to one.
and another passes onto another.. just like the Fibonacci sequence.
Wouldn't people in the world be more knowledgeable in that sense?

Yet again, it is a hypothetical question.
Because the world is also filled with selfish people who prefers to end the passing of knowledge.

Leonid Meteor Shower
(I think Astro Club is really attractive.)

This morning at approximately 1.30 am, my Dad and I abandoned our sleep to set off towards the big field situated around Seng Kang Town. As it was still dark, hardly anyone could be seen on the streets.

I prepared myself for the meteor shower.
I brought things to entertain myself : PSP, Jacket, Radio, Handphone, Binoculars (why didn't u buy me a telescope..), my poker face pillow.

In the end.

The sky was rather cloudy, only few stars were visible.
No meteor sightings.
Mosquitoes attacked me.

And my dad's beaded bracelet broke coincidentally too.
So I spent most of the time using the faint light emitted from my Nokia to shine on the grassy patch and poked my and in search for the missing last bead.
Alas my dad found it amoungst the grassy patch, almost 20 minutes passed.
We chatted while sitting on the mat, staring at the cloudy sky.
Reminiscing.

Wanting to escape from the mosquitoes, I then sought refuge by heading towards my seat in the car and winding down the window, and stared at the sky.

Though no amazing sightings were caught.
I felt good chatting with daddy.

We could have also watched it through my bedside window.
But i guess it was too bright to watch any stars at night.

Rants
1) The TV show on channel 8. I think it is titled qi er ba ba. Oh my god, the little girl. Her voice. High-Pitched.Unnatural.Unbearable. If not for the other actors, I would have switched the channel. Why would mediacorp have no taste for actors... bad acting skills.

2) I lost my waterbottle at the science center today ): My Nike Waterbottle. I wish I could have a lost and found corner at the science center. Even if I do, I hope no one throws it away. Poor bottle. I really spent nearly 1 hour retracing where I have been around the science center. I practically know wheres where, whats what on the ground floor, inside-out.

3) Why did the news not report anything about it (the leonid meteor shower) huh?

4) Again, I'm like blurest or something. It always happens when I am taking the East West Line. Jinx Perhaps. I overshot Outram Park and took the train back to the stop. Sat on the North East Line, Missed 2 stops and alighted at Seng Kang station. well..I have an explanation! The first time, I was busy selecting contacts to delete off my phone. The second time, I dozed off.

At least I gain something : Waiting by Ha Jin back to the top?
