Today had a sumptuous dinner with mom's colleagues :)
I thought places at Jalan B_ _ _ something something would be Ulu, and hungry for business. But I was wrong. Maybe it was that particular shop? Haha, it seems really quiet from the outside, but not really on the inside.

Two of them came from Saudi Arabia, and are going back pretty soon. I think Saudi Arabia seems REALLY COOL.

1 You can't go there for no reason, they do not allow tourist/travel permits. So, either you have to be a worker, a family member of the worker, or a citizen to go inside.
2 They pray 5 times a day
3 Single men cannot sit as they wish to in shopping centres, or restaurants. Seats are reserved for people with families. Super-family oriented country :o
4 They get ALL OF their expenses accounted for by the company for now. (they'll have to start paying for everything from next month onwards. But, considering you get to live in a 3 storey, big garden house for 5 I wanna see Abu Dhabi, and the Dubai night skyline.
6 I wanna travel along a 100km road with lampposts continuously along both sides of the street
7 I wanna go up Burj Al Arab
8 I wanna experience my car getting stuck in the desert, and I'll see if there are helpful passers-by who are willing to give me a hand at pulling my car up.
9 I wanna pay for petroleum that costs S$0.15 per litre.
10 just open your eyes and mind to another culture :)

But of course there are also MANY MANY reasons why staying in Singapore is much better than there.
